Learning that if we step outside ourselves and give an account for our actions we would find the purpose that God has created us for. I attempted this assessment and found myself working towards restoring the broken places in the lives of those who have been shoved aside by life. Being guilty of this work I found my purpose in Isaiah 58:12: “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”
Shameek and I are clearly writing this vision in order to carry it out with clarity and cause those who desire to partner with us to assimilate this vision and walk along side of us. Assimilation and delivery are two key ingredients in building a partnership with others; especially when it comes to God’s vision. Amos 3:3 asks the question “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” Therefore, an understanding of the vision is necessary.
The Delivery…We will begin the restoration process by first identifying those who have lost an understanding of their purpose. I don’t think that people willingly give up on their purpose for no apparent reason(s), I believe that distractions such as competing affections has drawn us away. Therefore, we will help the “penetrated” reestablish the understanding of their purpose by showing them the power of success through completing the godly “tasks at hand.”
The Application…We will instruct those via the true word of God and by “non-traditional” ways of the church. We have found that over time people have adopted early day traditions that have been set forth by the “worldly” integration and belief systems instead of what God says in His word. This worldly process has caused the broken to gravitate towards what seems to be the will of God; After all it is us (people) who change, not the ways and the word of God.
The Victory…We are in faith that as those aforementioned as the hurt and penetrated will start to experience the full impartation of God’s transformation and His restoration if they allow their focus on God during times of difficulty to outweigh what they are facing. If repetition of a bad thing causes one to become effective at doing what’s wrong, then certainly repeating the steps of God’s plan will bring about and maintain the understanding and power of what God says about us.
The Maintenance Plan…Through the attendance of our regularly scheduled services we can monitor and make certain that the victorious, formerly known as the broken, can maintain steady growth and their life will be made whole.
Thank you in advance for trusting us with your vision, your purpose, your life,
